Overview
Work is progressing on our new project in the Noroton Heights area.
All of the buildings on the four acres of land in the former Noroton Heights Shopping Center have been demolished and other site work has started on the property.
When the multi-use development is finished, it will consist of retail and commercial space, a Goddard School, and 10 affordable luxury residential rental apartments.
The development will create a new and vibrant area within Darien and Fairfield County and integrate residential living with retail commerce that will offer unparalleled access to the nearby Metro North Train Station.
Timeline
Total timeline for construction is currently estimated to be less than two years. We hope to have retail tenants able to open in 2025, with the residential units expected by the middle of 2025.
Ground Floor
28,765 square feet of retail and commercial space, including the Goddard School, two full service restaurants, two fast casual restaurants, and two convenience oriented retail storefronts.
Second and
Third Floors
The residential apartments will consist of 31 one-bedroom units, 30 two-bedroom units, and 4 three-bedroom units. Plans call for 10 of the 65 units to be affordable units, which exceed state and town requirements.
