We have partnered with West Avenue Industrial LLC to acquire two properties in Stamford, CT, that total about 150,000 square feet of industrial space. The purchase includes 3 buildings on 15.6 acres in one of the few remaining industrial pockets in Stamford.
650 West Avenue: The building at this location is a 60,000-square-foot warehouse that was built in 1998. The current tenant is LaserShip, a last-mile delivery company for e-commerce that occupies 40,000 square feet of the warehouse. The remaining 20,000 square feet of the warehouse is unoccupied.
419 West Avenue: There are two buildings located on this site. Both were constructed in the early 1980s. One building is a 20,000-square-foot high-bay warehouse and the other building is a 70,000-square-foot, two-story office building. The two structures are connected by a skybridge. Both buildings are currently unoccupied.
We may apply to the City of Stamford for some redevelopment later this year, but all plans and options are still being evaluated.
